Sutton is one of the three largest ski and snowboard resorts in Quebec and the northeastern United States, with its 968-metre (3,175-foot) summit and 53 runs and glades. Sutton is located in the heart of the Appalachian Snow Belt and receives an average of 470 cm (185 inches) of snow per year.

The mountain is renowned for the maturity of its long runs of all levels, both traditional and, glades which constitute 40% of the mountain's skiing and riding area. A snowmaking system covers 60% of the skiable terrain. Every hour, 11,800 people can be whisked to the top of the mountain thanks to three quad chairlifts including 1 detachable chair and 6 doubles. The mountain also boasts 4 restaurants on the mountain.
