The name tells it all: The Seal. A family place. Not far from Stockholm. Good for children and beginners but crowdy in the weekends. Easy, short yet expensive slopes. Neighboring St?ten (Stoeten) is a bit more challenging. And if you prefer long slopes with a vertical drop, try a day trip to Trysil on the Norwegian side, some 50 km away(a hint for experts when it's not too icy: the telemast up there, double black diamond, Ekspertloypa... then you continue into a nice, normal black slope in the forrest zone). For real alpine skiing in Sweden, try Are (Aare), although it's often crowdy.
This place has neither vertical drop nor great panoramatic views nor scenery, and a run is over in a minute. You'll find this sort of slopes quite close to Stockholm (Gesunda, Kungsberget, Romme). That said, if you combine downhill and cross country, it probably works (the long distance race of Vasaloppet for example, starts just downstream from the village).| Vertical Drop: | 1772 ft
