Located on the western slope of the Teton Range in the Rocky Mountains, Grand Targhee has a well deserved reputation for excellent and abundant snow. Targhee receives an average of over 40 feet of snow each season, putting it among the top resorts worldwide for frozen precipitation. The resort also provides abundant and varied terrain, with 1,500 lift-served acres on Fred's Mountain and an additional 1,500 acres dedicated to snowcat powder skiing on Peaked, Targhee's second mountain. The western themed village at Grand Targhee is self-contained, with all lodging units offering ski-in, ski-out access.
