Timberline ski resort is located high in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. The resort's unique location is a place known for cool temperatures, long winters, and abundant natural snowfall. Over 150 inches of natural snow falls on the mountain each season, and consistent winter temperatures provide great snow making weather from November through March. And the north-facing slopes at Timberline retain snow like no other mountain in the region.

The Mountain Biking Center at Timberline provides scenic trails winding through woodlands for beginners, to more strenuous climbs and descents for the experienced rider. Chairlift service provides quick access to the mountain's peak, great views of the Canaan Valley and easy entry to the Monongahela National Forest.
